Programming Workshop at LPU – Coding Bootcamp.

Data structures and algorithms play a major role in implementing software and in hiring process as well. Competitive programming is like brain game which test your problem solving skills from basic to advanced level. It provides knowledge to find easiest solution in the quickest possible way.
One of the prestigious Student Organisation Club Illuminati in collaboration with Coding Ninjas had organised a workshop named CODING BOOTCAMP.

An instructor and product engineer at Coding Ninjas, Mr. Parikh Jain was a facilitator of this workshop. He is also known as the “ninja” of competitive coding. More than 200 interested students made their presence at this workshop.

Importance of Programming workshop:-
The workshop was all about discussion and sharing knowledge about most trending topic of programming that is – Data Structures, Algorithm and Competitive Programming.
The 1st day was all about brain teaser, questions on arrays, basics of recursion etc. which also include top and best programming puzzle questions which most often a part in technical interview. Example- Generate desired random number with equal probability. Discussion on various data structures like stack, linked list , queues etc. And Tips on how to crack bigwig's interviews were also discussed.

Second day was all about discussion on how to approach problem in competitive programming which include various way of approaching and solving problems in a limited time. Advanced recursion problem, basic of dynamic programming and few questions on dynamic programming were also discussed.

To all the students who participated in the workshop, they were provided with participation certificates of both the days along with goodies, bags, t-shirt etc. And taking part in this workshop made students to know about their particular field of interest in respective areas, which  in turn made them learn and explore to the new things which world demands as a student.


Mr. Jatinder Vohra , Head of Center
for Professional Enhancement was chief guest of this event. His presence and the words delivered made students to learn and think beyond the box for moving ahead.
